Lecture: ‘Liberal Christianity in Adelaide 1870–1914’

On the 3rd of May, South Australia historian Dr David Hilliard OAM discussed challenges to Christianity created in the late 1800s by new scientific knowledge and biblical scholarship, and responses of prominent SA clergy – amongst them, Rev Dr James Jefferis.
