Barbara Sibley JP – Service of Thanksgiving

With great sadness, we share that Barbara Sibley died on 13 October 2026.

Barbara was the wife of Ric (dec.), mother of Michael, Paul and Jane, mother-in-law of Barbara, Karen and Brenton, grandmother of seven and great grandmother of two boys born this September.

A close friend of many, Barbara was a faithful member of our congregation for many years.

Until recently, she remained firmly committed to Church Council, contributing by email when she could. She also supported many congregational initiatives, including the Bari School and coordinating donations to the Geranium Op Shop.

During her long career as a stockbroker, Barbara was respected for her professionalism and care for others. She was a great supporter of the arts and loved attending live performances.

We give thanks for Barbara’s life, her profound faith in Jesus, and the many ways she enhanced the wellbeing of many people.

She will be deeply missed. Please uphold her family in your prayers

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Brougham Place Uniting Church on Friday 23 October 2026 at 10am.
